Diablo 4 News Are Scheduled To Be Revealed this December Before the Game Awards

Ahead of The Game Awards in December, news about Diablo 4 is set to be disclosed.

It’s been indicated that some media channels will have the chance to play the game and speak with the developers before The Game Awards. While there’s info on the embargo being lifted “before TGA,” the exact date may shift.

The slated release window for Diablo 4 is 2023. Blizzard Entertainment is anticipated to unveil a more definite launch date for the game in the upcoming weeks.

Prior Reports

According to Sikmamikanico from Xbox Era and Jez Corden from WindowsCentral, Diablo 4 is likely to launch in April 2023.

The media embargo hints that Diablo 4 might not feature at The Game Awards. Yet, a leaked document from Activision Blizzard suggested that pre-orders could be available during TheGameAwards.

The release of the game was confirmed for 2023 on June 12, 2022, following its initial unveiling in November 2019 at BlizzCon.

Five Classes Revealed for the Game:

  • The Barbarian – known from Diablo II and III – has the ability to switch between weapons during battles.
  • The Sorceress – returning from Diablo II – is a mage specializing in elemental magic such as fire, cold, and lightning.
  • The Druid – making a comeback from Diablo II – can transform between human, werewolf, and werebear forms and wields earth and storm magic.
  • The Rogue – a swift warrior proficient in both melee and ranged combat using blades and bows, returning from the original game.
  • The Necromancer – utilizing dark magic to summon and launch attacks, returning from Diablo II and III.
