Game Trailers: The Last Worker worth watching the Christmas trailer

Publisher Wired Productions, writer/director Jörg Tittel and game studio Wolf & Wood present a brand new Christmas space from Jungle Corporation, the largest online retailer that has embraced the increasingly automated world of The last worker checked. In addition The last worker now confirmed for PlayStation VR2. In addition, the title will be released in 2023 for Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Meta Quest 2. The brand new physical Jüngle Pronto Edition was also announced.

The last worker is a firstperson adventure set in Jungle Fulfillment Center 1, the largest store in the world. The title is about the struggle of humanity in a world where humans are increasingly being replaced by robots. The game combines a handdrawn style cocreated with comics legend Mick McMahon (Judge Dredd, 2000 AD) with uniquely addictive game mechanics.

Players who purchase the title on PlayStation 5 will also get the PSVR2 version at no extra cost and saves and progress will transfer between the two versions.

In addition, Wired Productions released the Jungle Pronto edition of The last worker announced. The Pronto edition will be released in 2023 and includes a reversible cover, Jungle stickers and a doublesided poster.

The last worker delivers an emotional, thoughtprovoking story with richly crafted characters, told by an allstar cast that includes Jason Isaacs (Harry Potter, Star Trek Discovery), Ólafur Darri Ólafsson (The Meg, True Detective), ClareHope Ashitey (Children of Men ), David Hewlett (The Shape of Water), Zelda Williams (The Legend of Korra) and Tommie Earl Jenkins (Death Stranding). The Last Worker was voiced by Oliver Kraus, known for his collaborations with artists such as Adele, Sia and Florence and the Machine.

“Like his reallife counterparts, Mr. Jungle has a lot to be happy about,” says authordirector Joerg Tittel, whose company Oiffy is producing the game. “As he makes billions, hordes of increasingly dehumanized workers struggle to get you the superherothemed electric brush head in time. Of course we couldn’t let him get all the $$$, so we made this cynical product for you. Happy capitalist hoho horror!”

“The player embodies Kurt, a tall man with a big beard who delivers ‘gifts’ on a flying scooter,” said Ryan Bousfield, creative director at Wolf & Wood. “Even though you have robots instead of reindeer, it’s a testament to the immersive power of VR that such an unusual and stylized world still feels ‘real’ when you’re in it!”
