The “Severance” and “Black Bird” Apple TV+ series have received nominations for the 80th annual Golden Globe Awards, which will be given out on January 10, 2023. Several notable cast members from each show have also been nominated.

Ben Stiller served as executive producer of Dan Erickson’s sci-fi thriller “Severance.” The Lumon Industries company, which is mysterious, is the focus of the show. While at work, the company’s employees are kept from remembering anything about their personal lives. Likewise, employees have no memory of their work environment after leaving the office. The program has been given a second season order.
Dennis Lehane is the author of the limited drama series “Black Bird.” When a policeman’s son is sentenced to 10 years in a minimum-security facility, the authorities offer him the chance to have his sentence commuted with no conditions in exchange for going to a maximum-security facility and making friends with a suspected serial killer to coax a confession from him.
Golden Globe nominations for the shows “Ted Lasso” and “The Morning Show” were made by Apple TV+ in the past. Jason Sudeikis, who starred in “Ted Lasso,” won a Golden Globe for Best Television Actor in a Musical or a Comedy in 2021 and 2022.
