The development team of Battlefield 2042 unveils a new limited time event, Battle for Nordvik, as part of Season 3, starting December 20 and offering a unique gameplay experience every week for three weeks.
The Battle for Nordvik event features a 32v32 variant of Conquest by Storm featuring fastpaced ground combat and a 16v16 variant of Conquest called Retribution. Finally, the more intense Breakthrough Mayhem mode can be experienced on PC and nextgen consoles with up to 128 players.
Players can earn ribbons every week to unlock unique gameplay rewards for that week. In addition to these earnable rewards, the store also includes free bundles and two new paid bundles.
At the same time, the free access phase occurs in Battlefield 2042 instead of. From December 16 to December 24, the game title will be free to play on the PlayStation platform. Players will also have full access to the Battle of Nordvik event content.
Battlefield 2042 was released on November 19, 2021, for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
