The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources has signed an agreement with the Digital Government Authority; This in the framework of the activation of the concept of inclusive government and support for the digital transformation plan for the industrial sector, in the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef, and His Excellency the Governor of the Digital Government Authority, Eng. Ahmed bin Muhammad Al-Soyan The agreement aims to support the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources by unifying and merging the industry sector platforms, providing advice and services related to digital government, supporting the plan of digital transformation for the sector by activating the concept of inclusive governance, developing the customer experience journey and shared digital products for the industrial sector, in order to help improve the experience of beneficiaries and investors in the industrial sector, as well as increase the spending efficiency in digital business.
The agreement was also to provide consultative support by providing decisions and regulations related to digital transformation and digital government work to enable the industry and mineral resource system to activate all the industrial sector services provided through the “Industrial” platform, as well as transferring knowledge and experience in the field of digital transformation, and providing support and empowerment to implement and complete the business.
The agreement was signed by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources for Digital Transformation, Engineer Muhammad bin Muhanna Al-Muhanna, and the Deputy Governor of the Digital Government Authority for Business and Digital Transformation, the engineer Yasser bin Faleh Al-Shammari.
