Apple today released a third Apple TV+ commercial starring Timotheé Chalamet. The actor laments that he does not have an Apple TV+ show or movie.
In the “Ladybug” commercial, Chalamet sits in a garden, scrolling through Apple TV+ content and complimenting the actors with whom Apple has collaborated. “Apple, you’ve hurt me,” he says. “You clearly understand art.”
“Beauty is such a delicate thing,” he continues. “Frequently overlooked,” Chalamet begs Apple to call him again at the end of the commercial.
This is Apple’s third commercial featuring Timotheé Chalamet. It comes after the “Call Me” and “A Taste” ads released in January. Apple’s advertising campaign appears to be leading up to the announcement of an Apple TV+ show or film starring Chalamet. At this time, however, nothing has been announced.
Before Jon Hamm was announced as a cast member of “The Morning Show” in 2022, Apple used a similar advertising strategy.
