Under the auspices of Faisal bin Salman.. the launch of the Smart Madinah Forum 2023

Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah Region, the Region Development Authority will organize the “Smart Madinah Forum” next Sunday, February 19, 2023 AD (SMF2023), in its second edition, which it will organize over 3 days at the King Salman International Center Conferences in collaboration with the United Nations Program for Human Settlements (UN-Habitat), in the presence of over 40 speakers from more than 20 countries of the world Compare city residents and visitors, and ways of applying smart city concepts to address the challenges they face, and review Madinah’s pioneering experience in its transformation into a smart city without prejudice to its Islamic identity and culture.

The topics of the forum are sustainability and smart cities, smart city platforms and the holding of workshops entitled “Sustainable Development Goals: A Participating Society”, which will be discussed among a group of experts and specialists representing the most important international organizations from different countries of the world and represent a number of national authorities, specialist consultancies and international technology companies.

Interestingly, the forum sessions will include organizing an exhibition entitled “City Harmony”, which is the first contemporary art exhibition of images of a Saudi NFT twinned city using blockchain technology, and the accompanying exhibition will continue for one month after the end of the forum work.
