Studio Round8 has released a new trailer for Lies of P, the upcoming soul-like video game for PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, in which Pinocchio takes on enemies ranging from steampunk automata to Horror in Victorian style. The video in question was released during IGN Fan Fest 2023 to show the public a gameplay experience entirely inspired by Bloodborne.
The two-minute video offers, in addition to some of the scenes already shown in previous trailers, a glimpse into the world of Lies of P, which has been given the derisive name Belle Époque: a dark Victorian steampunk stimulus based on Collodi’s famous New York Times novel. Neowiz and its sister company Round8 have yet to announce an official release date, but the increase in trailers released in recent weeks, including 8K gameplay released by AMD, may indicate that an announcement is imminent. However, given that Lies of P is not yet available for pre-order, the chances of a release in the first half of 2023 are getting smaller and smaller.
