Additional words can be found in the press release:

The last worker is a firstperson narrative adventure about humanity’s struggles in an increasingly automated world where humans are being replaced by robots. The game was built from the ground up to provide both VR and flatpack experiences. It combines a handcrafted art style created in collaboration with comics legend Mick McMahon (Judge Dredd, 2000 AD) with unique, immersive gameplay mechanics seamlessly woven into a unique narrative gameplay.

The last worker offers an emotional, thoughtprovoking story with a diverse cast of characters voiced by an allstar cast, including Jason Isaacs (Harry Potter, Star Trek Discovery), Ólafur Darri Ólafsson (The Meg, True Detective), ClareHope Ashitey (Riviera , Children of Men), David Hewlett (The Shape of Water, Oddworld New’n’Tasty), Zelda Williams (The Legend of Korra) and Tommie Earl Jenkins (Death Stranding, Wednesday). The music for The Last Worker is by Oliver Kraus, known for his collaborations with artists such as Adele, Sia and Florence and the Machine.

“Just as the pandemic has made us all dependent on home delivery, it took us an entire pandemic to deliver this game,” said writerdirector Joerg Tittel, whose company Oiffy is also producing the game. “We often felt like Kurt, overworked, lonely and tired, and Skew reminded us that there will be fun and light at the end of this service center. I hope you all do The last worker to your next direct purchase.”

“Centered on the story of Kurt, someone who puts his job above all else, we see him pushed, rather unwillingly, into a scenario that requires him to take back control. From meeting the daily quota to moments of satire, surreptitious advertising and a shootout, The Last Worker flows into a seamless flow of adventure and absurd storytelling,” said Ryan Bousfield, creative director at Wolf & Wood.
