Apple has released the fourth RSR update since the function was introduced in iOS 16. It is accessible to users using the iOS 16.4 beta.

Users of the iOS 16.4 beta can get bug fixes with the Quick Security Response Update without downloading the complete update. Given the short file size, this update is probably a test version.

You can download iOS Security Response 16.4 using the Settings app’s normal Software Update feature. Even so, the update only takes a little while to download before the installation process needs to be restarted.

Users of iOS 16.4 will see an updated version of iOS 16.4 after installing the Rapid Security Response update. Information regarding the installed iOS version and the Rapid Security Response update may be seen by tapping the version in the About section of Settings. Follow these instructions if you wish to disable Rapid Security Response updates.

For users of the macOS 13.3 Ventura beta, Apple has also published a second fast security response upgrade.
