Rebellion announces that the second Season Pass for Sniper Elite 5 is available. A trailer introduces us to the content, and the full info tree has the accompanying press release:
Season Pass Two kicks off with an exciting new campaign mission called Rough Landing, as well as two realistically recreated iconic weapons, the Mosin Nagant Rifle and the Sjögren Shotgun. As part of the latest game update, all players will also receive the free Trench Warfare Weapons Pack. This gives access to three new pistols: the Carl Gustav M/1945 SMG, the Trench Gun and the Double 1866 pistol.
Rough Landing, the latest mission from the Sniper Elite 5Campaign, playable solo and in coop. Allied pilots were shot down over a dense forest and had to go into hiding because the Nazis were hot on their trail. It is now up to the players to rescue the pilots and ensure that valuable information does not fall into the hands of the enemy. In the thicket of the forest, in a narrow mine shaft and in a village, players face different challenges, including close combat.
To aid in rescuing the pilots, players will receive two new weapons: the Mosin Nagant rifle and the Sjögren shotgun. Known as a powerful and reliable rifle, the MosinNagant has excellent stopping power and stability, making it an excellent longrange sniper rifle. Meanwhile, the Swedish 12G Sjögren Inertia was one of the first semiautomatic shotguns. The signature recoil can be controlled to deliver accurate shots with a reasonable rate of fire.
The pack is included with Season Pass 2 or sold separately.

Trench warfare weapon package
This free weapon pack provides players with devastating firepower that’s perfect for close range combat.
From 1945 the Carl Gustav M/1945, better known as the Swedish K, was used. It combines features of several World War II firearms to create a reliable and wellbalanced submachine gun. With a rate of fire of 600 rounds per minute, the Gustav ensures accurate single shots while offering very good control in continuous fire.
The trench gun, a powerful pumpaction shotgun, was first used by American troops during World War I and World War II. With 12 caliber rounds from the 6round tubular magazine, it has a fairly short range and rate of fire, but compensates for this with high damage potential at close range.
Last but not least, the Double 1866 is a doublebarrelled pocket pistol that was developed in the 19th century as a reserve pistol that was easy to conceal and quick to draw. Although it has only a single action trigger and a very slow muzzle velocity, its unique characteristics make it an effective weapon in close quarters combat.
