It came as it should: Star field cannot keep his appointment a second time.
As known, it was originally set to release on November 11, 2022, but this was changed to “within the next 12 months” the previous May. Given the absence during the Bethesda Showcase a few weeks ago, it was already clear that this was no longer sustainable.
But now there’s a new, hopefully final date this time: as per the current status, that should be September 6, 2023, as the trailer above announces.
The previously announced Immediate Presentation Star field will take place before that, of course, but it’s still a while away: it’s on June 11 which is probably exactly the time an E3 press conference from Bethesda would have been expected if Microsoft and its studios were still participating.
