Daedalic Entertainment and Nacon make this known Lord of the Rings: Gollum Coming to PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X on May 25. The Switch version will follow later.

Lord of the Rings: Gollum Based on JRR Tolkien’s legendary The Lord of the Rings trilogy, it follows Gollum’s behindthescenes experiences in the opening chapters of The Fellowship of the Ring. After losing his precious ring to Bilbo Baggins, Gollum decides to leave the Misty Mountains and embarks on a perilous adventure through Middleearth, encountering familiar characters from the books, as well as new potential allies and enemies. It’s up to the player whether Gollum has the upper hand when it comes to major decisions, or whether he sides with his hobbit self, Sméagol. To survive the dangers he encounters in his adventures, Gollum must use all his cunning, distracting himself and sneaking past his enemies as he climbs the vertically laid out environments.
