Ben Affleck’s Slip-Up: Revealing Crucial Gal Gadot Flash Movie Spoilers

Recent articles

Ben Affleck, who plays Batman, discussed an upcoming scene in The Flash that will involve Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman on a podcast. He gave away critical new details about the location.

Gadot has been doing some exciting things in the DCEU lately.

Warner Bros. canceled Wonder Woman 3 in late 2022, so it’s unclear what will happen to the character and the actress who plays her in the future.

Even so, she had a small part in Zachary Levi’s Shazam! The anger of the gods. Jack Dylan Grazer, who plays Freddy Freeman in the movie that just came out, says she might also be in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.

Everything points to Wonder Woman appearing in The Flash with Ezra Miller and Ben Affleck before she (maybe) joins Jason Mamoa.

Ben Affleck Describes Wonder Woman Scene in The Flash

Ben Affleck discussed his time as Batman in the DCEU on the Smartless podcast. He also gave away a pivotal scene for Gal Gadot in the next The Flash movie.

Affleck said that after playing Batman for so long, he just now “figured out how to play him:”

“I finally figured out how to play the guy… I was like, ‘Hold on, am I– Is that– I quit, I know I quit, and I know came back, but I got it now.’ It’s like, you know when you do the audition, and you’re on your way home, you’re like, ’Ooh.’”

Even though he didn’t want to give away when it happened, he did say that he was “saved by Wonder Woman:”

“I mean, I don’t wanna give a spoiler, but it was a scene where I get caught, I get saved by Wonder Woman during a conflagration with some bad guys. And she saves me by– I mean, I’m sure the spoiler, DC assassins are gonna get me, but…”

The actor gave more essential details about Gal Gadot’s cameo as Wonder Woman. He said it involved the hero’s “Lasso of Truth,” which makes Batman “share some of his real feelings about his life and work:”

“She saves me with the Lasso of Truth. And so what happens is that Batman divulges some of his real feelings about his life and his work… I was like, ‘Wait a minute, I got it!’

Gadot Spoiled Once Again

First, Gal Gadot’s third solo movie was canceled, and then her cameo in Shazam! The marketing for Fury of the Gods ruined it, and now this.

Fans already knew that the hero would be in The Flash because there were set photos and official Funko Pop! figures for the movie.

Hopes are high that the rumors about Gadot being cut from Ezra Miller’s next project are not valid. The way Affleck talked about the scene made it sound like it would be fun.

Affleck has said before that his role in The Flash is the only time he really “nailed” the part of Batman.

Still, the actor says that the five minutes he will spend in costume in the upcoming DCEU movie will probably be his last. At one point, he might have come back to start a big Crisis on Infinite Earth-style event, but James Gunn’s big upcoming reboot seems to have killed that idea.

Since Gal Gadot is in so many DCEU movies this year—she could be in up to three—one might start to think that Warner Bros. wants to keep her around.

The Flash opens in all theaters on June 16.
