According to new rumors, the Nintendo Switch catalog will soon be replenished with an updated version of Paper Mario: The Millennium Portal, originally released for the GameCube.
Licker claims to have received confirmation from three different sources, but not only that: the release of the Remaster version will already be close. The rumors started from PikminSnezkov, a Famiboard user, according to which the user did not provide an exact release date as it was not confirmed by any of the three sources.
I have great news: the remastered version of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door is coming soon.
I am in contact with three sources, one of which made me contact a third, whom I had never spoken to before, I sent him messages on LinkedIn: the last source, however, did not confirm the release date that I said, the other two and so further at the moment I can only say that it will arrive soon.
Personally, I’ve always had high hopes for Paper Mario: The Millennium Portal Remaster as I’ve never had the opportunity to play it on the GameCube and therefore can’t wait to do so on the Nintendo Switch.
So, after the surprise appearance of the Metroid Prime remaster, Nintendo may be looking to release new updated versions of particularly popular video games without too much notice. At the moment, of course, this is just a rumor that has not yet been officially confirmed, we can only wait for further news on this matter.
