The Crash Team Rumble closed beta is now available on Xbox and PlayStation. Testing began yesterday and will last until April 24. While on PlayStation the game can only be accessed by pre-ordering the game, on Xbox members of the Xbox Insiders program are encouraged to dive into the game to help developers improve it before launch.
Crash Team Rumble takes Crash Bandicoot in a whole new direction, pitting the franchise’s iconic heroes and villains in a 4v4 team competition to catch more Wumpa Fruit than their opponents to win. Get ready to dive, jump, slide and bounce in a brand new Crash adventure. Closed Beta+ is an integral part of the development process, and we’re excited to have you as part of it.
Xbox Wire says that to participate in testing on Xbox consoles, you need to launch the Xbox Insider Hub app, having previously installed it from the store, if you have not already done so. At this point, go to the “Preview” section and find Crash Team Rumble. Select the option to join the test, wait for a successful registration and you will be in the store to install the closed beta file. Please note that places are limited, so those who come first will have a better chance of being accepted.
After playing, you can use the dedicated “Report a Problem” section to provide your feedback and report any issues. To do this, press the home button on the controller, select “Report a problem”, select the “Games” category and the “Crash Team Rumble Closed Beta” subcategory, and fill out the form.
As a reminder, Crash Team Rumble will be available from June 20th.
