If you needed more evidence that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is nearing completion, one of the game’s primary voice actors has stated that he is finished with his work. Peter Parker voice actor Yuri Lowenthal responded to a few questions posed by fans regarding Spider-Man 2 and his time spent working on the game during an Ask Me Anything (AMA) session hosted on Reddit.
In one of the questions, a player wanted to know if he had completed all of the voice acting for the new game.
Lowenthal said, “Yup,” to this. “I can’t wait for you to play it!” “I can’t wait for you to play it!”
In addition, Lowenthal verified that the motion capture job was finished. There is always the chance of doing reshoots to clean things up when the game’s release date gets near.
Lowenthal expressed his gratitude to William Salyers for the voice acting he provided in the role of Doctor Otto Octavius in the original game, in addition to confirming that his work on the game was finished.
“He was so good that he made my performance better,” he remarked about the other individual.
Because the AMA was primarily promoting Skybound Entertainment and not the future game being developed by Insomniac Games, Lowenthal did not respond to any additional questions concerning Spider-Man 2.
It is anticipated that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will be released for the PlayStation 5 in September. This video game is a direct continuation of Marvel’s Spider-Man, released in 2018. Players will take on the roles of Peter Parker and Miles Morales as they battle against a host of new antagonists, among them the fan-favorite Venom.
