Yuri Lowenthal, Who Plays Spider-Man in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Claims That Acting for The Game Has Been Completed

If you were looking for more signs that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is making progress towards its completion, one of the main voice actors for the game mentioned that he has finished his work. Yuri Lowenthal, the voice of Peter Parker, responded to fan questions about Spider-Man 2 and his experience working on the game during an Ask Me Anything (AMA) session held on Reddit.

When asked if he had completed all the voice acting for the upcoming game, Lowenthal responded affirmatively, “Yup, I can’t wait for you to play it!”

Furthermore, Lowenthal confirmed that the motion capture work had been wrapped up. While nearing the release date, there is always the possibility of additional shoots to refine the content.

Lowenthal also expressed appreciation for William Salyers’ voice acting as Doctor Otto Octavius in the original game and acknowledged that his own part in the game was complete.

“He was so good that he made my performance better,” he commended Salyers.

As the AMA mainly focused on promoting Skybound Entertainment rather than Insomniac Games’ upcoming project, Lowenthal did not address any more inquiries related to Spider-Man 2.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is expected to launch for the PlayStation 5 in September. This game serves as a direct sequel to Marvel’s Spider-Man, which debuted in 2018. Players will once again assume the roles of Peter Parker and Miles Morales as they confront a new array of adversaries, including the popular character Venom.
