The information regarding Call of Duty 2023 will reportedly be made public at the beginning of August.
It is generally accepted, even though few specifics on the nature of the reveal have been disclosed yet, that the game, similar to a number of its more recent forerunners, will be unveiled through some in-game event. The first gameplay footage for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Vanguard was seen during the Warzone multiplayer mode. On the other hand, the information on Modern Warfare 2 was disclosed during a COD NEXT event.
The announcement will be made on Tuesday, August 1st, also the unveiling date. The information suggests that we will not likely learn anything new about Call of Duty 2023 at the expected PlayStation Showcase that will take place this month.
It has yet to be discovered what the full name of Call of Duty 2023 will be. Still, it has been widely speculated that the game will essentially continue Modern Warfare 2, which is expected to be released sometime in 2023. Sledgehammer Games will be the company responsible for developing the game, as previously disclosed by Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier.
