Spoilers for Hell’s Paradise, Including a Recap of Episode 6 and an Overview of What to Anticipate in Episode 7

The Giant of Bizen, Rokurota, has unfortunately passed away. Rokurota, the only other character left from the convicts who physically resembles many of the behemoths they’ve seen, offered the first lethal challenge for Gabimaru and Sagiri. Rokurota was the only other character to remain from the inmates. Genji was killed, and the surrounding woodland was reduced to cinders, which attracted monsters to its ruined state. This episode offered a magnificent exhibition of the cast’s combat prowess, intelligence, and differing wills to fight in various situations.

After this confrontation, the show came to a quick end. Other island occupants are found rather quickly, such as two attractive hermits who live deep within the territory. The seventh episode will focus on Chobe and Toma’s run-in with these mystery individuals and Gabimaru’s party meeting a little child and a tree man named Hoko. This is the point in Episode 7 where the people of the island reveal a significant portion of the island’s geography, along with the truth regarding the Elixir of Life, such as the following information:

There are three distinct regions on the island:

  • Eishu is a place known for both its beaches and its forests.
  • Hojo is the location where the group first encounters Hoko.
  • Horai is the location of the Elixir and Lord Tensen’s abode (including the hermits previously seen in the text).
  • Kotaku is the name that the people there give to their island.
  • Tan, also known as the Elixir of Life, is a mixture created by people turned into flowers by Lord Tensen after he captured them.
  • The Lord Tensen is the most powerful being on the island. Tan has granted them the ability to have more reserves and greater mastery over Tao, which is a life force energy in the series that is analogous to chakra or chi.

After this point, the story will take many interesting turns in the future. Even though there are only 13 episodes this season, we will get a good look into Volumes 1-4 of the manga. The most recent episode will wrap up the rest of Chapter 16 and then move on to Chapters 17-19. We’ll get to see more of Nurugai and Tenza, and we’ll also find out whether or not Chobe and Toma can get out of the predicament they’re in after running into the Tensen. We’ll get a fresh perspective on the island when the hell’s Paradise Episode 7 and subsequent episodes are available.
