The science fiction multimedia franchise known as Star Wars is set in a galaxy far, far away, and takes place a very long time ago. Star Wars is jam-packed with content because it follows multiple generations of characters through several periods, each featuring political changes and conflicts. We have been given a total of 11 movies, and there are more on the way, in addition to an endless span of TV series that will be arriving on Disney+. Ahsoka, the eagerly anticipated spin-off series of The Clone Wars, will be one of these shows that will premiere in August of 2023.

After the destruction of the Empire, Ahsoka became the apprentice of Ahsoka Tano, formerly Anakin Skywalker’s Padawan. Ahsoka is a character conceived by Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau. In a galaxy that believes it has been saved from the Empire, Ahsoka investigates a new danger. Although there is not much information regarding the actual storyline of the series, the cast list provides quite a bit of insight. This article contains detailed information about Ahsoka’s supporting cast and characters.

Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka Tano

Rosario Dawson will be stepping back into her role as the titular character. Dawson has appeared in several movies, some of the more notable ones being Kids, Men in Black II, and Clerks III. Dawson was immediately praised for portraying the iconic Jedi Ahsoka, who made her first appearance in the animated series The Clone Wars. Dawson made her first live-action appearance as Ahsoka in The Mandalorian, and it was there that she received the praise.

In addition to Dawson, it has been disclosed that the role of Ahsoka when she was younger will be played by Savannah Steyn, who is best known for her work in the series Intergalactic, which airs on Sky One. We will soon be treated to Dawson unveiling technology that is even more cutting-edge for Ahsoka’s tendrils.

Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren

Sabine, also a Mandalorian warrior and a former student of the Imperial Academy, was presented to the public for the first time in Rebels. Natasha Liu Bordizzo, who made her acting debut in the 2016 film Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny, has been selected to play the role of Sabine in Ahsoka. In preparation for this role, she underwent extensive training and earned a black belt in taekwondo. This training will surely come in handy for her portrayal of Sabine, a Mandalorian skilled in combat, and she will likely need it. In addition to those films, Bordizzo has appeared in The Greatest Showman, Hotel Mumbai, and Day Shift.

Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker

Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker

In a manner very similar to that of Obi-Wan Kenobi, one of the most anticipated characters that are expected to appear in Ahsoka is Anakin Skywalker, also known as Darth Vader, who was Ahsoka’s former Master. Hayden Christensen is excited to come out of his quiet farming life and return to Star Wars with a vengeance. He will be reprising his role as Obi-Wan Kenobi, played in the Star Wars prequel films. Although a great deal is known about Anakin both before and after he turned to the dark side, the period of time immediately following his initial transformation into a Sith is not explored in great detail. Although we were shown a glimpse of his cruel side in the Obi-Wan Kenobi story, we can expect to learn much more about it in the Ahsoka story.

Eman Esfandi as Ezra Bridger

In the first episode of Rebels, Ezra Bridger was shown for the first time as a former con artist who had been taken in by Kanan Jarrus to be trained in the ways of the Jedi. Ahsoka is determined to find Ezra, who vanished with Thrawn at the end of the animated series, and many people initially believed that Ahsoka’s story would continue when she appeared in The Mandalorian. However, Ahsoka’s story does not continue in The Mandalorian. Eman Esfandi, an actor and musician, is in talks to play the live-action version of Ezra. Esfandi’s filmography, which currently only includes Red 11, I Am Mackenzie, and The Inspection, is likely to become significantly more well-known after the premiere of the new series.

Ivanna Sakhno as Shin Hati

Shin Hati is a student of Baylan Skoll, a practitioner of the dark side of the Force who uses a lightsaber. Shin Hati is Baylan Skoll’s apprentice. Because her Master has given her the mission of tracking down and killing Ahsoka, Shin Hati is considered a villain. Ivanna Sakhno, a Ukrainian-American actress best known for her roles in Pacific Rim Uprising and The Spy Who Dumped Me, plays her. She is one of the few new characters who has never appeared in the series before, and Sakhno portrays her.

Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla

The audiences were first introduced to Hera Syndulla through the series Rebels and the video game Star Wars Forces of Destiny. She is a Twi’lek general of the New Republic, the ship Ghost pilot, and Jacen’s mother, whom Kanan Jarrus fathered. She is also the pilot of the ship Ghost. Hera will be played by Mary Elizabeth Winstead, best known for her roles in the horror films Wolf Lake, Smashed, and 10 Cloverfield Lane. Winstead, already on the cast list, is now part of the Star Wars universe as one of the most well-liked characters from Rebels. Winstead is one of the more well-known and acclaimed actors in the cast.
