During a recent earnings call, CEO Yves Guillemot shared that Ubisoft will be restructuring its workforce to expand the Assassin’s Creed team.

Guillemot stated, “as part of our strategic resource reallocation, we aim to boost the number of skilled professionals working on the Assassin’s Creed franchise by around forty percent in the years to come.”

Currently, Ubisoft employs about two thousand developers dedicated to the Assassin’s Creed series, which represents 10% of the company’s total workforce of 20,000. This count had decreased recently due to restructuring efforts and closure of offices in previous years.

With a 40% increase in developers on the Assassin’s Creed team, the franchise could see a workforce of about 2,800 individuals. Additionally, Ubisoft is actively working on various other games like Skull & Bones, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, The Crew Motorfest, among others.
