Ben 10, a series produced by Man of Action for Cartoon Network that debuted in 2005, tells the story of a young boy named Ben Tennyson who, while on a family vacation with his grandfather Max and his cousin Gwen, finds a mysterious alien device in the woods called the Omnitrix that enables him to transform into a variety of aliens. The show follows Ben’s adventures as he uses the Omnitrix to become different aliens.
Its readdition to Netflix, scheduled for June 5th, is limited to the Netflix service available in the United States.
In addition, its readmission to the library of the United States version of Netflix is not anticipated to affect its streaming availability on HBO Max (soon to be called Just Max), where all four seasons are already streaming. The most recent 2016 series is also available in its entirety.
Ben 10 was available on Netflix in the United States almost ten years ago.
A little over eight years have passed since the last time Ben 10 was available to stream on Netflix in the United States. According to the documentation provided by NewonNetflix.info, Netflix in the United States hosted all four seasons up until 2014. After that, the series was removed, returned for a few weeks with only two seasons, and removed permanently.
In the years that followed, Ben 10, along with a large number of other Cartoon Network shows, was canceled. The final Cartoon Network show ever to be removed from Netflix in the United States occurred in February 2022. However, that pattern is about to be broken since the new management at Warner Bros. Discovery has decided to license some of the company’s series.
The announcement comes on the heels of many acquisitions that Netflix has made on animation produced by Warner Bros. Discovery. Since the beginning of April, we’ve seen characters similar to Scooby-Doo! New episodes of Mystery, Incorporated, Justice League, Justice League Unlimited, and The Batman are now available on the service. In addition, the release of both Tom and Jerry Tales seasons has been scheduled for June.
