Who is the Director of Creator?
A movie’s success depends on more than its cast, and Gareth Edwards can’t do it alone. Greig Fraser, who won an Academy Award for his work on Dune, and Oren Soffer, who won an Oscar for his work on Fixation, are both on board to work as cinematographers on The Creator, which looks like it will be a real visual treat. Fraser and Edwards worked together on Rogue One before. Edwards came up with the story, and he and Academy Award nominee Chris Weitz (Rogue One) wrote the script together. Edwards also co-produced the movie with Kiri Hart (Star Wars: Rebels), Jim Spencer (Monsters), and Arnon Milchan (The Revenant), who was nominated for an Oscar for his work on that movie. The movie’s executive producers are Yariv Milchan, Michael Schaefer, and Natalie Lehmann (The Northman) from New Regency, as well as Nick Meyer and Zev Foreman (Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves) from Entertainment One. The film’s score was written by Michael Giacchino, who won an Oscar and worked with Edwards on Rogue One.
