Capcom Sends Out Resident Evil Survey, Includes Questions About Future Remakes
Capcom has sent out a new Resident Evil survey to fans, and while most of it is to garner basic feedback on services such as RE.net and its social media accounts, it does ask specifically what other Resident Evil games fans would like to see remade.
Fan feedback and remakes seem to be a hot topic in the Resident Evil community these days, as there has been much speculation about which game will be next in line for a remake treatment.
The Voice of the Fans
Although it remains to be seen how much fan requests influence Capcom’s decisions, it’s always interesting to see what fans are hoping for. Many fans have been vocal in their desire for a remake of Resident Evil CODE: Veronica, and it’s a popular choice that could benefit from a proper overhaul.
Will the fans get what they want? Only time will tell.
The Possibility of a CODE: Veronica Remake
Back in October of last year, Capcom’s Yoshiaki Hirabayashi said that there were currently no plans to remake CODE: Veronica, but he did not entirely rule it out.
As Resident Evil celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2026, there is a possibility that another remake could be released to mark the occasion. However, with Resident Evil 9 likely already in production, it may be a while before we see any more remakes.
