An update for Splatoon 3, version 7.0.0, is now available for download on PC, bringing various bug fixes, improvements, and patch notes. The file size may vary across different gaming platforms. The latest update for Splatoon 3 introduces a range of changes and enhancements aimed at offering players a more immersive and engaging experience.

The much-anticipated Side Order DLC is now available for players who have purchased the expansion pass. To access the Side Order story, players can visit Inkopolis Square from the train station in the square.

As part of the Fresh Season 2024, a new data set has been added to the game, introducing a variety of new elements including gear, titles, banners, decorations, stickers, and emotes. The store’s product line-up has been expanded with the inclusion of 153 new pieces of gear.

Multiplayer gameplay has seen significant additions with the introduction of two new songs for clashes. Additionally, new main weapons such as Douser Dualies FF and Recycled Brella 24 Mk I have been added to the shops, each offering unique characteristics and play styles.

Enhancements to the gear mechanics allow players to Adjust Gear for specific items like glasses, visors, hoodies, sweaters, layered T-shirts, and shoes with socks. This feature now applies to certain caps and T-shirts like Splatfest Tees, allowing for more customization options.

Core mechanics for Splatfests have been refined with the introduction of Fizzbangs, a new concept that lets players launch fireworks at a target location to ink the ground and damage opponents within the blast radius. The scoring system has also been adjusted to award points to second-place teams in each division during final results.

Salmon Run mode has been improved with the ability to exchange items for fish scales and an increase in wave count to provide players with more challenges and rewards.

Various fixes have been implemented to address issues related to player controls, multiplayer, Salmon Run, Splatfests, and overall performance optimizations to enhance the gaming experience.

System-based changes have been made to SplatNet 3 and Tournament Manager, introducing new features such as Side Order Stats on SplatNet 3 and the ability to receive food tickets when participating in tournaments organized with Tournament Manager.

The Splatoon 3 expansion pass – Inkopolis & Side Order DLC represents a significant update that aims to enhance the player’s overall experience through various improvements to gear, maps, character appearances, and control enhancements.
