Report – PS5 Release Date In Europe Could Be Delayed Or Brought Forward Due To COVID-19 Lockdowns

    Published on:

Due to the shutdown measures that are currently in place, Sony Interactive Home Entertainment is said to be thinking about delaying or moving up the release date of the PS5 in some European countries.

For example, England is going to lock down the whole country this Thursday to try to stop the spread of sickness.

Because of COVID-19 lockdowns, the PS5 release date is going to be pushed back.

The Neen, a Reddit user, received word from GAME UK that Sony wants to change the release date because of the lockdowns in the UK, France, and Germany. You can see the thread below.

The PS5 will be available in the UK and Europe on November 19, while it will be available in the US and Japan on November 12. Sony just recently told customers that they will soon be able to start handling their orders.

Sony talked about the different ways you can get the DualSense controller last week, which you can read about here.
