After Apple released the first Rapid Security Response test for the Mac, it was almost a month before the update was released.

Upon restarting the Mac, macOS Rapid Security Response 13.2 (b) is immediately installed. When the Safari app is closed and reopened, it is also added.

Apple was testing the functionality before deploying it for a real security update with the initial RSR release for the Mac, which did not include any new features.

The fact that today's update is only 13.4MB in size suggests it is a test. Rapid Security Response is a feature included in the updates for iOS 16 and macOS Ventura.
