Apple's Password Manager is Now Compatible With Third-Party Browsers Thanks to macOS Sonoma

The upgrade to macOS Sonoma currently in testing will make it possible for Mac users who browse the web with Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or another browser to use Apple's Password Manager to fill in their passwords automatically.

Mac OS Sonoma developers or public beta testers can now utilize their iCloud Keychain credentials with browsers other than Safari to auto-fill passwords and generate one-time codes. New passwords can also be saved in browsers provided by third parties.
