Gboard's backspace key is a handy tool for quickly deleting characters one by one. However, did you know that swiping left on the backspace key allows you to delete entire words or even phrases? This hidden gem can save you a lot of time when you need to quickly remove a large portion of text.

While swiping left on the backspace key is a useful way to delete words and phrases, it does not offer a true undo function.

1. Open Gboard Settings: Start by opening the Gboard settings on your Android device. You can do this by going to your device's settings, scrolling down to the "System" category, and selecting "Language & input." From there, find the "Virtual keyboard" section and choose "Gboard."
