Miles is in trouble in the New Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Trailer

A new teaser for Spider-Man Across The Spider-Verse, the sequel to the 2018 Oscar winner Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse, has been published after the publication of an image of Miles Morales and Gwen Stacy hanging out.

A chat between Rio Morales (Luna Lauren Vélez), Miles (Shameik Moore) and his mother, ties the new trailer together. Rio wants to ensure her "little guy" is taken care of, cherished, feels like he belongs, and can go out into the world and achieve "big things."

This is intercut with key sequences from the first film and a fresh video of Miles performing his friendly neighborhood Spider-man thing.

When Gwen Stacy (Hailee Steinfeld) comes to his reality and takes him through a portal to go through the multiverse, we see an extended version of the original film's finale.

We see a type of center for all the incarnations of Spider-Man through the portal, where fans can search through and uncover plenty of references and easter eggs. Rio urges Miles to promise to look after her son wherever he goes.

The teaser then cuts to the other Spider-Men attacking Miles, with Oscar Isaac's Spider-Man 2099 villain, Miguel O'Hara, presenting the biggest threat. The trailer concludes with 2099 spiking Miles into the earth, followed by the film's logo.
