Redfall For The PS5 Is Still Going To Happen, According To Microsoft

Microsoft has fired back in response to allegations that it had shelved the Redfall version for the PlayStation 5 (PS5).

In an interview with IGN French, Bethesda's Creative Director Harvey Smith discussed how the creation of Redfall was affected after Microsoft acquired Zenimax, Bethesda's parent company.

Smith stated that once Microsoft purchased Zenimax, things changed in the production of Redfall. According to Smith, Microsoft has stated that they have no plans to release the game for the PS5.

Instead, Xbox Series X, PCs, and Game Pass were the sole points of emphasis in this announcement.

A spokesman for Microsoft reportedly told Gamespot that the company has "not withdrawn any titles from PlayStation." Gamespot reported this information.

There are no games that have been removed from the PlayStation. Since we've taken over ZeniMax, we've been able to increase the number of PlayStation titles we're responsible for shipping.
