Watch the Trailer for the Apple TV+ Thriller Film Tetris, Which Reveals the Incredible Story of the Iconic Video Game

The new horror movie "Tetris," based on the real-life account of how the video game became a global phenomenon, debuted its trailer this week.

Beginning on March 31, the movie will be streamable worldwide on Apple TV+.

Taron Egerton plays Henk Rogers in "Tetris," who flew to the Soviet Union in 1989 to settle a legal battle that finally resulted in Nintendo licensing Tetris for the Game Boy console and the huge game success all over the world.

Based on a true event, Tetris is a Cold War-era thriller on steroids, according to Apple, with double-crossing villains, improbable heroes, and a suspenseful climax. Based on a script by Noah Pink, the movie is directed by Jon S. Baird.

Following a price rise from the previous year, Apple TV+ now costs $6.99 per month or $69 per year.

The streaming service is accessible through the Apple TV app on a variety of gadgets and operating systems, including but not limited to the iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV box, PS5, Xbox Series X, Roku, and Amazon Fire TV streaming sticks, as well as some LG, Samsung, Sony, and Vizio smart TV models.
