Grounded presents a diverse environment of pests that you may encounter during your gameplay. While some pests appear right at your doorstep, others may require a search to find them. If you are looking to complete a task for BURG.L by finding mosquitoes, you may need to invest a great deal of time searching for them. While there is a quest available in the game to eliminate them, many players have been wondering if they are actually available or if they have not yet been released by the developer, Obsidian Entertainment.
The mosquitoes in Grounded are similar in appearance to bees. Although players can receive quests from BURG.L to locate and eliminate them, none of these creatures are in-game. Some players have claimed to have stumbled upon mosquitoes by exploring the overload and waiting for it to get dark. However, despite spending several in-game hours running around the overload ourselves, we were unable to find any evidence of their existence. Many other players have also reported that mosquitoes are not yet available in the game.
As there is a quest to eliminate mosquitoes, it is expected that Obsidian will release them to the public in the future. It is not clear when or where these creatures will be found. Although it is possible that mosquitoes may be encountered in the overload during the night when they emerge, this has not been confirmed. We will keep our guide updated with any new information that we uncover through future updates during Grounded’s early access.
