Since Bethesda revealed Starfield at E3 2018, not much else about the sci-fi RPG has been revealed. However, an insider has claimed that we can see the release of Starfield as early as this year. The information comes from an Xbox Series X podcast from Dealer Gaming.
What I’ve heard is Bethesda will probably have it 90 percent at E3, or whatever they call E3; they won’t actually be part of the official E3. But 90 percent before it gets there and what follows is usually the Fallout 4 combat plan … introduce it at E3 and launch it in November. You still have to consider COVID.
Todd Howard, director and executive producer at Bethesda Game Studios, has said it would be hard to imagine Starfield being a console exclusive.
However, now that Microsoft has acquired Bethesda’s parent company, ZeniMax Media, and has announced that some future Bethesda titles will be exclusive to Xbox and PC, the certainty remains whether Starfield will be exclusive or not.
Until then, we’ll have to wait and see when Bethesda shows us more images and details about the game, including the Starfield release date.
The E3 2021 online event has still not been fully confirmed. however, it is safe to say it will still continue. After all, only the live event was canceled earlier this year.
Should the virtual event be E3 2021, keep your eyes peeled for Bethesda and Starfield as it will surely be one of the most anticipated games of the year when announced later in 2021.
