Cyberpunk 2077 True Next-Gen Shadows introduces improved shadows

A new Cyberpunk 2077 mod released online this week introduces some welcome improvements for shadows.

The True Next-Gen Shadows is a minor cfg tweak that improves the range of shadows, clarity of reflections and more. The changes aren’t huge, but they are certainly noticeable judging by the comparative screenshots provided by the mod’s creator.

In-game CFG tweaks only:
Improved the range of shadows, increased the brightness of reflections, removed the extra lighting (edge ​​enhancement) from some details of the environment, vegetation, characters and weapons.
