If your Vodafone device can’t access the internet this morning, it looks like you’re not alone. Hundreds of customers report a problem with Vodafone’s data network that prevents them from accessing the internet, sending emails or streaming music.

The gremlins seem to have started up overnight with a jamming monitor, Down Detector, currently showing the problems persist. Most reports appear to be centered around London, but Birmingham and Manchester may also be affected.

On Down Detector’s forum page, a Vodafone user said: “No service, just an occasional burst, then off. This has been going on for hours and still no explanation from Vodafone. Total mess.”

While another said, “I don’t have network access! What’s happening?”

In addition to those reports via Down Detector, Twitter is also full of Vodafone users complaining about data issues with one tweet saying “@VodafoneUK Vodafone Data is down.”

Express.co.uk has contacted Vodafone to find out how long the problems are expected to last, but it appears the network is aware of the outage.

Responding to a tweet on social media, Vodafone said: “We are aware that some customers are having issues with their network coverage. Don’t worry, our engineers are working on it and we should have an update on this as soon as possible. Thanks for your patience!”
