Set in the heart of LA, SoLA takes players to the ultimate California music festival, where a psychedelic beat unleashes chaos, turning the mosh pit into a rotting crater of blood and unleashing an evil presence to haunt the player.

The SoLA DLC has the following content:

New story: A deadly virus ravages The Valley, turning its inhabitants into ravenous zombies, while a chthonic rhythm calls from without: the rhythm of the autophage. Lured to the festival by a mysterious warning, players must explore the ruins of SoLA to stop this alien menace.

New location: A brutal, bloodsoaked music festival in the heart of LA (or HELLA as we like to call it), reverberating to the sound of the beat that threatens to turn the living into zombies. It has the potential to be heard around the world.

New opponents: The Whipper is a new enemy of the Apex variety, driven mad by the Autophage. Her urge to selfmutilate has transformed her into a horrific nightmare of disembowelled bodies, granting her the ability to attack from a distance. Another new, disturbing top zombie, Clotter, can transform into a disgusting pile of blood, immune to damage in this form, and then regroup elsewhere to continue the fight. He is able to release a powerful jet of tainted blood from his heart.

New legendary weapons: The Ripper, for example: a deadly combination of baseball bat and circular saw that develops into a powerful mutilation machine.

The Sawblade Launcher: a heavy weapon that fires rotating saw blades; the perfect weapon for decapitation and mutilation at a distance.
