Bandai Namco also shows the launch trailer The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil Within Me. With atmospheric sequences, it sets the tone for the season one finale, available for PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X.
In The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil Within Me players are invited to a replica of the World’s Fair Hotel, originally built by American serial killer HH Holmes. They take control of Lonnit Entertainment, a team of lowbudget documentary filmmakers who hope to gain massive ratings for their truecrime format by visiting the hotel. Your destiny rests in the hands of the players, who are pressured to make impossible decisions while their murderous host watches their every move.
In addition to a new story and an allstar cast, the season one finale also offers a host of new gameplay features. The game allows characters to climb, jump, crawl and explore areas that are larger and more complex than ever before. Fans will have to keep their cool to solve the various puzzles and use the new inventory system and special character tools at the right time to keep Lonnit Entertainment’s crew alive.
As with all games from The Dark Pictures Anthologyseries, players can take on the horror alone or team up in multiplayer and play online with one person or up to five players in couch mode.
